Lawn Maintenance is how Simmons began in 1915. It is our first business and we enjoy caring for a most incredible clientele. We work at business locations and residences. Our work is for those with a very discriminating taste.

Weekly Grass Cutting (Annual Contracts Only) Simmons is interested in promoting a long relationship. For this reason, Simmons is interested in annual weekly lawn mowing.

Lawn Aeration Services can really improve your lawns response time to fertilizers and pesticides. Simmons performs two types of aeration.

First is called plugging, and is a method of punching small holes in your yard. Normally little clean up is done in order to allow the debris to decay in place.

Second is called verticutting, and is a method of combing, or vertical mowing your yard with a machine which removes a large quantity of material, much like quilt filling, out of your lawn. This is raked or vacuumed up, loaded and hauled away. This leaves your lawn looking fresh.

Bed Edging Services are a method of sharpening up the look of your yard, much like polishing does for your car.

Brick Edging - a method of setting paver bricks end to end in the soil to grade(fully buried).

Spade Edging - a method of cutting a bed edge with a spade.

Plastic Edging - We have access to plastic edging materials that are much more durable and longer lasting than the materials available at garden centers and home improvement stores.

Metal Edging - Many metal products are available, but Simmons likes to use a flexible galvanized steel which is made to Simmons specification.

Trimming Small Trees and Shrubs Proper pruning is important to the health and usable lifetime of your plants. Proper pruning takes training and understanding of plants. Anyone can us a pair of shears and butcher a plant, but a craftsman is required to properly prune.

Lawn Installation & Repair - Simmons is selective on sod and seed. Choices need to be made based on each job's requirements.
Sod - Simmons uses a specific sod grower for the incredible quality of his sod. We order your sod to be cut, picked up and laid all in the same day. The result is a beautiful lawn every time.

Seed - We only purchase our seed from a company known for seed cleanliness and quality. This seed produces quality lawns every time. We will seed small areas most of the summer, however we only seed large areas in the fall. (July 15-Aug. 15)

Hydro-seed - Simmons Landscape has teamed with Henry Landscape a local hydro-seeder who is recognized as an industry leader.

Lawn Ferilization and Weed Control - Simmons Landscape has teamed with Grounds Services to provide lawn applications. Grounds Services is a recognized leader in this industry
